Yes it's true!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting baby number two! Yay! Our new bundle of joy is expected to arrive on May 12, 2011. I can't wait to find out what it is. This ultrasound pic was taken at 9 weeks. So amazing you can see the face really well. The heartbeat was perfect at 177 beats per minute. I cried. It's always a good feeling when you hear that little heartbeat for Ithe first time. I am 11 weeks today. This pregnancy is flying by already! I just couldn't keep it a secret any longer.

Sorry I have been absent from my blog. School and Owen have been keeping me pretty busy, leaving not much time to do the less important things in my life. Anyway, Owen is 8 months old now and is doing so much. He is army crawling and pulling himself to stand up on everything that will let him do so. He has truly filled my life with so much joy! I have so much fun with him everyday. Here are some pics!

Owen totally made out on Christmas. He was way more interested in the bow and wrapping paper than the toys though. :) He had such a long day. We started out at home then headed over to Mimi and Papa's house to unwrap presents there and to eat breakfeast. After that we went to the Nugget for lunch with my Grandparents where we also got to see Grandpa Mark, Theresa, Uncle Jake, and Morgan. And then we went back to my Grandparents house to exchange more gifts. And finally the last stop was at Grandma Becky's house where we exchanged gifts and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner. Whew! Long day. We were all exhausted. It was so nice to see everyone though.

My name is Jessica Meadows. I am a 26 year old stay at home mom/student with an amazing family. I just gave birth to my beautiful son Owen in August. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 3 years. I have lived in Sparks, NV for pretty much my whole life. I am currently attending community college to become a nurse. My life right now consists of taking care of my little one. Being a first time mom comes with a lot of surprises and demands and I wouldn't change it for anything!
